I was told the voting ended at 9:00 p.m. and Weidner's was ahead at 9:00 p.m. California time. Why were votes counted after the deadline?

Many congrats to Heidi and partner of the America Grilled Cheese Kitchen for winning first place in this contest. I would LOVE to taste one of your sandwiches - but living in Virginia makes that a bit impossible so . . . . I will have to do it virtually.

I don't know about you all, but to me these winners sound like the perfect date: fly to SF & buy a grilled cheese, fly to San Diego & buy some flowers, and then fly to New York & catch a show. Nothing better than dinner & a play!
