We are a not-for-profit music booking organization specializing in Celtic and Folk music. We have a master email list of about 350 and send two messages, perhaps 3, a month to our list. Our intent is mainly informational not to attract more business.
Starting this past July, it seemed that our mailings were not getting to our people and our event attendance dropped. We tried to isolate the problem but our ISP and our webname host ruled themselves out. After many trials and errors and test messages, it seemed the problem was associated with the link to our website that appeared in our message. We also were advised by someone else with a similar experience to reduce our master list to smaller lists of about 25 each, and I did this and things 'seemed' to go back to normal. However, we learned from some folks on our list that they were not getting any announcements. Revising our messages to be very simple, without any links has allowed them to go through.
We are interested in trying out your service but wonder if you have any insights or comments about the problem I have described. I would hate making the effort to set up a template only to have it not get through to our people.
