Why do i love this email? Let me count the ways...
1. First and foremost great use of an offer, entice people to take the "What makes you blush?" quiz so she can capture information on them for future marketing, the one-two punch...brilliant.
2. It's clean. The white background works well here to amplify the content. The use of the color pink goes great with the product since it's a "blush" wine...clever.
3. Wine ratings. Thumbs up on this, as good as a customer testimonial. Got a great rating no matter what type of product you have? Use it!
4. It's viral. Send a picture of you and your friends enjoying wine and you'll send your friends to see it and they'll tell two friends, and they'll tell two friends, you get the picture. I did it, check out "Man's best friend".
5. The use of the phrase "Having trouble viewing this email? Click here". Enabling everyone to see images and interact with the email...well done.
6. Offer in the subject line, straightforward and to the point...love it.
For this product, the email and offer get a 9 out of 10 (no one is perfect let's face it!). Well done Honore and The Little Penguin. Enjoy the iPod! Stay tuned for September!
