Some of you salesforce customers may have heard about Multiforce, that's the new "black" for salesforce.com this season. What is Multiforce you might ask? Multiforce, salesforce.com's new on-demand operating system, allows companies like VerticalResponse to deliver all their business application in a single environment — the salesforce.com environment - with one data model, one sharing model, and one user interface.
What does that mean for salesforce.com users using VerticalResponse?
Now when you want to do an email marketing or direct mail campaign from within your Salesforce interface you'll see a different set of tabs, VR Email, VR Postcard and VR Stats, so you'll never have to leave the Saleforce interface to do your direct marketing.
This is the part that i am THE MOST excited about! Now when you want to do a saleforce "campaign" you can query BOTH Leads and Contacts with or without custom fields, build a list and attach it to a campaign in minutes. As salesforce users ourselves we too have wrestled with the task of running a report, downloading the list, re-uploading your list and attaching it to a campaign. So we wanted to solve that problem for everyone, AND WE DID!
